While on and if needed a slight press of the button will deactivate your light for momentary-off applications. A full push of the button will turn you light back off. In critical situations immediate and powerful lighting is essential for maximum visibility and information gathering necessitating the need for a constant-on application. This approach has enabled the creation of a smaller more efficient remote switch with a lower-profile design optimizing space and allowing for better ergonomics.

And as before these remote switches are designed with built-in operational redundancy. This means if your remote switch ever fails your REIN can still be operated using the tailcap push-button as they operate electrically independent from one another. Made in the USA from impact-resistant polymer and IPX-8 waterproof rated to 100ft for 24 hours.
Third generation REIN switches are designed to work with all generation REIN weapon lights only.
